SEMBLANCE
Nestor Chavez (Tito Chavez)
He was born in Los Mochis, Sinaloa. Mexico in 1974, he spent his childhood and grew up in Acaponeta, Nayarit where the provincial environment influences his sensitivity. Heir to a photographic view, from a very young age he shows aptitude for drawing and painting.
Supported by his father, he ventures into the fascinating world of plastic arts, reproducing corners of his town in watercolor, at the same time experiencing the human figure in charcoal, oil and acrylics. With his grandfather's photographic heritage; the brush and the color with the guidance of his Father and the studies and investigations of his concern; Nestor, today shows us a painting full of strength and color committed to our time and its constant search for freedom.
He has worked twenty-three years as an independent artist. Currently working in southern California, USA and the Mexican Republic as a residential decorative muralist and plastic arts.

He is internationally recognized for his murals and paintings on ceilings and vaults that can be found in residences in highly exclusive locations in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, North Hollywood, Malibu, Santa Monica, Southern California, and from commercial and public real estate to Colonial style houses in the Mexican Republic.
During his professional career, he has participated in various cultural genres and painting exhibitions, which can guess his continuous search for ideas and forms of pictorial schools in complete effervescence.

He studied drawing and painting at the National School of Plastic Arts. (ENAP-UNAM. 1991-1992, (participating listener)
in Mexico City, followed by the University of Valle de Atemajac (UNIVA)
Graduate in Graphic Design in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, 1993-1997.
